WordPress is one of the most trusted and versatile blogging platforms on the internet. In the midst of juggling dozens of different online activities users often end up forgetting their WordPress passwords. This may seem like a big deal but it’s really not. Recovering a forgotten WordPress password is a simple 3-step process. If you remember your username or registered Email address then the entire process should not take you more than a minute.
Step-1: Go To The WordPress Login Section And Click “Lost Your Password”
If you are stuck at the login screen then simply click the Lost Your Password link. If you are not at the login page then go to WordPress.com and then click on Log In located on the top-right corner of the page to reach the login page.
Step-2: Enter Your Email or Username And Click “Get New Password”
Now, you simply need to enter your registered Email address or your Username in the blank field. Once done, click the Get New Password button. This step automatically sends an Email to your registered mail.
Step-3: Open Inbox To Recover Forgotten Password
Now, access the inbox of your registered Email and open the new mail sent to you by WordPress. This mail should contain your WordPress password.
