From social media accounts to Email, an average user is often forced to memorize several usernames and passwords. This is why it’s not surprising nor unnatural to sometimes forget a password. If you can’t access your LinkedIn account because you have forgotten the password then there is no reason for panic. Following is the simplest way you can get back access to your account by resetting your LinkedIn password.
Step-1: Go To The Login Section And Click “Forgot Password”
Simply visit the LinkedIn website and go to the login section. Click the link that reads Forgot Password. Doing so will initiate the password resetting process.
Step-2: Enter Registered Email Address And Click Continue
In this step, you are required to enter the registered Email Address in the blank field that reads Email Address. Once done, click the blue Continue button located beside the field.
Step-3: Open The LinkedIn Email And Click The Link
The above step automatically sends an Email to your registered Email address. The new mail should read “Here’s The Link to Reset Your Password”. Open your mail inbox to access the mail and then click on the hyperlink.
Step-4: Reset Your Password And Click Continue
Finally, you need to enter a new password and then re-enter the password again in the two fields. Once done, click the Continue button.
